"When I choose to play the soprano saxophone as my main instrument, something like 15 years ago, I had in mind to re-create a sonic dream including the power of Bechet, the fluidity of Coltrane, the weight of Shorter, the amazing centered tone and pitch of Lacy. It was (and still is) a very hard job. But when I cross for the first time on my road Borgani, I really had a sort of illumination on the Damasco way.
